install SDLMAME/MESS on Ubuntu

1. remove old repositories (if any)
sudo rm -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sdlmame4ubuntu.*

2. add the main repository for unofficial builds
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:c.falco/mame

3. update software list
sudo apt-get update

4. install the packages from the repository
sudo apt-get build-dep mame mess
sudo apt-get install mame mess

in case of mess,
version check

download bios roms/drivers from theoldcomputer.com

put bios roms into the /usr/share/games/mess/roms
